PMA Debate Team Making History !
The Phoenix Debate Team broke into the ranks of the top Regional Conference Circuit with a 9th place Junior Varsity Ranking. Brenda Munoz and Lainer Rodrgiuez won this honor, and a nice trophy, making them the first Phoenix Team in history to win a team award at the Regional Circuit Level. Also, the Varisty, not to be outdebated by the JV, did very well too, and Samary Vazquez, Team...
...Captain, won 5th Place Varsity Individual Speaker Award at the Debate Tournament. She received a nice medallion and ribbon for her efforts.
All this analysis continues to highlight the success of the debate team in increasingly difficult regional and national circuit debate. We thank our supporters, and we look forward to the next debate in January and February at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA.
